1. The short version
This site sets nothing beyond what is strictly necessary unless you tell us otherwise. We run no advertising or analytics tag at present. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, and we do not share anything with advertising networks or data brokers.
Our webfonts are served from our own server rather than a third-party font service, so simply loading a page does not disclose your IP address to anyone but us and our hosting provider.
2. What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage works similarly but stays in your browser and is never sent with each request. We use both, and we treat them identically for consent purposes: neither is set for a non-essential purpose before you agree.
3. What we use, item by item

Required for the website to function: security, load balancing, form submission integrity and remembering your cookie choice. These are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and cannot be switched off.
Preferences
Remembers choices you make on the site, such as figures you have entered into the Strategic Efficiency Simulator, so they survive a page reload.
Analytics
Would let us measure which pages are read and where visitors leave, in aggregate. No analytics provider is installed on this site at present; this control is here so that your choice is already recorded if one is ever added.

Marketing
Would allow advertising measurement — for example a Microsoft Advertising UET tag — to attribute an enquiry to a campaign. No advertising tag is installed at present; consent here is what would permit one to run.

4. Consent Mode
This website implements Consent Mode v2. Before any measurement or advertising signal could be sent, the site declares a default state of denied for advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalisation, analytics storage, functionality storage and personalisation storage. That default is asserted on every page load, including the very first, and is only changed if you grant a category.
If a Microsoft Advertising UET tag or a similar measurement tag is added to this site in future, it will inherit that denied default and will fire only on the basis of a consent you have actively given.
5. How to change or withdraw your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or the button in section 1 above. Your choice takes effect immediately. Withdrawing consent for a category also removes what that category had stored.
You can additionally block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of the site — in particular form submission — from working.
6. Legal basis
Strictly necessary items are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and are exempt from the consent requirement in Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications, which implements the ePrivacy Directive. Everything else is set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
